Texas Tech Commemorates Campaign Accomplishments

Celebrating a billion-dollar achievement made possible by record contributions, the Texas Tech University System reveled in the successes of Vision & Tradition: The Campaign for Texas Tech with a black tie gala held April 19 at Texas Tech University’s United Spirit Arena.

Texas Tech University System Chancellor Kent Hance thanked all donors in attendance for their contributions and noted the broad support that the campaign had received from alumni and supporters.

To date, more than 120,000 donors representing 39 countries and all 50 states have contributed to the campaign. Donations to Vision & Tradition: The Campaign for Texas Tech have provided funding for student scholarships, faculty support, innovative research and the construction of new facilities at each of the institutions across the Texas Tech University System.
