Recognizing philanthropy’s significance to each of its universities, the Texas Tech University System concluded a successful year fundraising gifts to advance excellence and innovation.
“Philanthropy provides a crucial foundation for the future growth and success of our universities,” said Chancellor Robert Duncan. “The Texas Tech University System’s momentum is driven by the generosity of our donors, and we are grateful for the investments they continue to make in the life-changing work of our universities.”
Support from individual alumni, friends and corporate partners exceeded $145.4 million for the year, furthering the Texas Tech University System’s pursuit of bold ideas that change student lives, foster new discoveries, spur economic growth and make a global impact. The year-end finish is the system’s fourth consecutive year of securing more than $140 million in annual support to benefit its universities.
