UT Southwestern Alumni Gather to Reconnect and Remember

From the far-flung corners of the nation, UT Southwestern Medical Center alumni gathered in Dallas on May 5 and 6 for Alumni Reunion. Continuing the annual tradition, graduates and former trainees celebrated a weekend reconnecting with colleagues and faculty mentors as well as rediscovering a campus that continues to grow into its eighth decade.

This year’s Alumni Reunion coincided with Founders Day, the annual celebration of the anniversary of the creation of UT Southwestern.

As has become tradition, Alumni Reunion celebrated UT Southwestern’s platinum alumni, a special group who graduated more than 50 years ago. Members of this alumni group were honored at a special lunch, where UT Southwestern’s Alumni Relations team presented alumni with custom lapel pins.
