Mizzou Giving Day Surpasses 3,000 Gifts for Student Success and Statewide Impact

Tigers demonstrated extraordinary generosity during Mizzou Giving Day, making 3,095 gifts to the University of Missouri. Strong participation numbers exceeded totals from the past four years, signaling sustained momentum for Mizzou.

From scholarships that create student opportunities and research that advances discovery to MU Extension programs that serve every Missouri county, Mizzou Giving Day delivered immediate impact across campus and throughout the region. Alumni, faculty, staff and friends from all 50 states took part in the effort from noon on March 11 to noon on March 12, reflecting the strength and reach of Mizzou’s land-grant mission. They were joined by contributors from around the world, including those in Australia, England, Portugal and Taiwan.

“Mizzou Giving Day showcases the power of a united Tiger community,” University of Missouri President Mun Choi said. “Together, we are investing in Missouri’s future, accelerating innovation, expanding access to a world-class Mizzou education and delivering more impact for all we serve, while also leading on issues that matter nationally and globally.”
